Funeral Trading B.V. offers an online webshop/web store. Business customers can offer their products and services on our platform. We also offer our own products and services. Business customers then have the option of purchasing or renting these products and services. Through this privacy and cookie statement we inform you about what we do with your personal data.

Our privacy and cookie statement in brief

When processing data, we adhere to privacy laws. This means, among other things, that we:

  • Clearly define our purposes before we process your personal data, through this privacy and cookie statement.
  • Store as little personal data as possible and only the data necessary for our purposes.
  • Explicitly seek consent to the processing of your personal data, should consent be required.
  • Take necessary security measures to protect your personal data. We also impose these obligations on parties who process personal data for us.
  • Respect your rights, such as your right to access, modify or delete personal data.

For what purposes do we use your personal data?

When you use our website and services, we obtain various types of personal data. We indicate for each purpose what data we obtain from you, what the basis for this is and what retention period applies.

To purchase a product you need to create an account. To do this, we process the following personal data:

  • Name
  • Login information
  • Address
  • Contact information (e-mail address and phone number)
  • IP address
  • Business data (company name, VAT number and contact information)

We will retain your personal data until you cancel the account, or for up to 2 years after you last used your account because we will then assume you no longer wish to use your account. We retain some data longer if we are required to do so by law (for example, in connection with tax retention requirements).

When you send an e-mail or contact form, call us or contact us in any other way, you accept our offer to engage with us (performance of the agreement). For this purpose, we process the following personal data:

  • Name
  • Contact information (e-mail address and phone number)
  • IP address
  • Any information you enter yourself as message content

We will retain your information for as long as necessary for this contact or for up to 2 years after we last had contact with you. We do this to better serve you if you contact us again.

Newsletter

We send a digital newsletter by email four times a year for which you can sign up (consent). The newsletter contains offers of and news about products and services offered through our platform. For this purpose we process the following data:

  • Name
  • Email address

We keep your information until you unsubscribe from the newsletter again. Each email contains an unsubscribe link.

Have you responded to one of our vacancies or submitted an unsolicited application? If so, we process your personal data in order to process your application and in preparation for the possible conclusion of an employment contract.

For this purpose, we process the following data:

  • Name
  • Address details
  • Contact details
  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Motivation letter
  • Salary Indication
  • References

We will retain your application data for up to 6 weeks after the position is filled. We keep this data so that we can contact you in case the position becomes vacant again within the probationary period. If we cannot offer you a position at this time, we may - with your consent - keep the application data for an additional year. You can withdraw your consent at any time by sending us an e-mail. If you join us, we will keep your application data in your personnel file. This file is kept for as long as necessary and, with regard to application data, for up to 2 years after employment.
